Hi, my name is April and I want to welcome you to Short Track Sales! If you were curious about this site and it's origins you are at the right place!
I have been apart of the racing community my entire life. My dad raced sprint cars with the IRA (Interstate Racing Association located in Wisconsin) which means my brother and I, as well as a few cousins, spent our summer weekends at the racetrack. After I graduated college I got into 3D modeling and animation. I thought it would be a neat idea to make my dad's car for him as a 3D printed model for Christmas. After I gave it him, he thought it was the neatest thing and showed it to a few people and soon enough I was making models for other guys. I decided to walk around the pits to see If other drivers also wanted a model of their own to give to sponsors or friends. It turned into a nice little business. The problem with 3D printing is it's not exactly cheap and I wanted to keep the prices low enough to make the models affordable for the guys which means not a whole lot of profit for all of my work. Then came my next idea...3D puzzles! I can still customize them and they are cheap enough that anybody can buy them! Not to mention they are fun for the kids. OK, so I have a few products to sell, but I want to hit a larger audience than the local racetrack. That is where this site fits in. And hey, why not make it available to everyone who has things they want to sell and not just at the racetrack? Almost all of the drivers have things they like to sell, be it shirts, hats or whatever, and now they have a place to sell that stuff all year round! |

I opened the site on July of 2016 with the intention of offering a vendor program where others can buy and sell their racing related goods. I have now decided to use this site to sell mainly my own things. If you want to sell your stuff here, we can talk, but as of right now, the vendor program is closed.
